Out and About

It's incredible how many of our guests travel thousands of miles to stay with us, then end up too chilled out to leave the property! There's plenty to see and do here and it's all right on your doorstep.

The Shallow BarOne of the newest attractions to hit Treasure Beach is the Shallow Bar, a cleverly constructed sea-faring venue, manned by local, experienced boat captains. You can sail off into the sunset with friends and discover the Treasure Beach coastline.

Black River Boat TripIf that doesn't rock your boat, our staff can arrange for you to take your own, personalised boat trip down the nearby Black River to see the (very docile!) crocodiles. The boat will pick you up from the beachfront outside Doubloon villa, stopping off at the famous Pelican Bar, in the middle of the sea, for the freshest fish and some ice-cold beverages.

ChequersThe Jamaicans are absolute experts at board games. Stop at any local bar and you are sure to find someone willing to play you. Whether dominoes or chequers, kudos if you manage to beat one of the locals - they're invincible!

Sabina ParkFurther trips include a visit to one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the island, YS Falls. You can zip wire your way from top to bottom, or even try the tubing. Set in lush, botanical gardens, take a picnic with you and chill out. For the sports-minded amongst you, cricket remains the Jamaican passion. Make a day of it at Sabina Park in Kingston.

A full list of local trips is available on your arrival at Doubloon and Rebecca and Nickell from Treasure Tours will be on hand with help and advice.
